On Sunday, November 3, 2019, Espinosa Vineyards in Escondido, California hosted an afternoon of wine and music with 25% of net sales of wine was donated to the Dance Hearts/Bells of Freedom’s Emergency Care Fund.

More than 150 patrons and supporters of Espinosa Vineyards and Dance Hearts/Bells of Freedom enjoyed a warm autumn afternoon sampling newly released wines and enjoyed some tasty wine pairing treats from Biersal Food Truck while listening to the smooth jazz sounds of Keith Jacobson and his sax.

Chef and owner Matt Schooner worked in the restaurant industry for more than 20 years including holding the position of Chef of the Main House at Skywalker Ranch where he was able to incorporate produce grown onsite in the organic garden into the daily menu and he brings that expertise to the Biersal food truck, to local breweries and wineries like Espinosa Vineyards.

Some of the menu items enjoyed included the Biersal Burger, Chicken Schnitzel Sandwich, Bratwurst, Portobello Sandwich, Bavarian Pretzels, Charcuterie Board, and more; all made with honest, organic foods from local artisan products.

Keith Jacobson is a premier San Diego sax player and a long-time student of Grammy Award-winning sax artist Eric Marienthal. Keith moved to San Diego in 2000 and has since electrified Southern California’s vibrant contemporary jazz scene at a wide variety of public and private venues.

Thank you to Roberto and Noelle Espinosa, the Biersal Food Truck, and Keith Jacobson for a lovely day, and thank you to all who came out to show their support of our US military men, women, and their families and the Dance Hearts/Bells of Freedom program.

Thank You!
