The date of Friday, September 21, 2018 is set for the annual “Send a Princess to the Ball’ shopping event. This is the event where your gently used ball gowns, cocktail dresses, evening shoes and accessories to be made available through a ‘shopping day’ at Camp Pendleton to allow young marine wives the opportunity to ‘shop’ for evening wear for the upcoming Marine Ball that takes place in early November through early January 2019. At the Camp Pendleton Event area, we create a boutique atmosphere for the ladies and for two days, we invite spouses to come to the “boutique” and shop for their gown, shoes and accessories. In addition, talented volunteers conduct on-site fittings and alterations (at no cost) so the ladies can leave with their completed look tailored just for them!

Bells of Freedom assists in this annual effort by collecting gently used gowns, cocktail dresses, dress shoes, bags, wraps and accessories all year long and welcomes community volunteers to aide in the sorting of donations, set up/breakdown as well as acting as personal stylists and babysitters each year.
